Donna is a Senior Finance Executive and CPA with extensive finance, operations, sales, and customer relationship management qualifications.
She has built a reputation for achieving results through identifying new opportunities, building management teams, moving products to market,
and driving revenue to achieve corporate objectives.
For the past ten years Donna has held management positions for venture-capital backed early-stage companies focusing on internet-related applications. Most
recently, Donna was recruited by the CEO of Izea, Inc. for her operational expertise to lead finance and operations during a period of high-growth.
Prior to that she was the CFO of Channel Intelligence, Inc. leading the company in strategy development, operations and finance and accounting
over five years during which the company enjoyed significant growth. She has successfully negotiated companies through acquisitions and
early and later-stage rounds of investment. Previous to that she was engaged for over six years consulting in the areas of strategic
planning, financial and operational improvement for Fortune companies such as AC Neilson, United Airlines, Ameritech, Ford and Chrysler.
Donna holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and has done extensive post-graduate work in
management and strategic planning. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida since 1988 and is a member
of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Financial Executives Institute (FEI). Donna
currently serves on the AICPA's Business and Industry Executive Committee and the CFO roundtable committee for the FEI. In addition,
Donna serves on the boards of several early stage companies advising on financial, operational and capital-raising.
