Over $2 billion in Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants and contracts will be awarded to innovative small and startup technology companies this year. The Venture Lab offers a Phase I SBIR proposal workshop each Fall, and a Phase II SBIR proposal workshop each Spring. These workshops are taught by experts in the nuances of winning SBIR grants, and will share best practices and tips for writing SBIR federal grant proposals that are a fantastic source of funding for transitioning innovative research into commercial products.
Come and learn how research faculty, students and technology entrepreneurs can access these government dollars by working closely with small technology firms that are seeking universities and their research faculty as SBIR partners.

Venture Lab SBIR workshops are free to all UCF faculty and students, and are only $25 for outside participants.
